BEST/MTSS Summer Institute - Overnight Accommodations

The registration fee does not include your hotel fees. You need to make your own room registration through Killington Grand Resort, 1-800-282-9955. When you call, indicate that you�re part of the BEST Summer Institute.

Individual Call-In: You will make your own reservations directly with the Killington Reservation Dept. Please call them directly at 800-282-9955. Be sure to refer to the BEST/MTSS Summer Institute when making your reservation so that you qualify for the special group rate of approximately $160 double occupancy, per night.

Important things to remember:

• Individuals will be asked for a credit card to guarantee their reservation and the credit card will be charged for the first night's room and tax to secure the reservation. Upon check-in, the card will be authorized for the remainder of the stay. All remaining charges, including lodging, taxes and incidentals will be finalized when the customer checks out.
• If you will be making a reservation that will be paid by your school, you will be asked to provide your school's tax exempt number (see more info below).
• Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Cancellations for Individuals:

• 4 Days or more prior to arrival: No penalty for cancellation
  
• within 3 day or less prior to arrival: No refund of deposit

TAX EXEMPT RESERVATIONS

To be Tax Exempt your reservation must be paid by a School Purchase Order/School Check, or School Credit Card.  All School Purchase Order Numbers & School Credit Card Numbers must be on reservations no later than June 15^th, 2018 to insure accurate billing.

If your reservation is Tax Exempt and being paid by a School Check, School Credit Card, or Purchase Order, please follow these instructions:

Call 800-282-9955 and mention you are with the UVM Best Summer Institute Conference.

We will hold your tentative reservation(s) for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks we will cancel the reservation if no payment has arrived.  

We will not hold any reservations later than June 15^th.  Reservations made after June 15^th must have the Purchase Order Number or School Credit Card Number at the time of booking.

The person making the reservation(s) will need to have their billing office Fax or Email Beth Fernald all Tax Exempt Information, copy of Purchase Order or school check along with names for each reservation booked.  If the reservation is being paid by a school credit card, a copy of the front and back of the credit card with all numbers blacked out except for the last 4 digits, must be emailed or faxed.

Extending a night to your Tax Exempt reservation after June 19, 2017:

You will have to make a separate reservation and use your personal credit card (will not be tax exempt) on that portion of the reservation.  The reservation agent will do their best to get you in the same room, but it�s not guaranteed.

NON TAX EXEMPT RESERVATIONS

For all other reservations for this conference that are not Tax Exempt, guests can call 800-282-9955 and mention they are with the UVM BEST Summer Institute Conference.  Once reservation is made, the guest�s credit card will be charged for 1 night deposit at the time of booking and balance will be charged at Check-Out.

CANCELLATION POLICY for NonTax Exempt & Tax Exempt Reservations:

4 Days or more prior to arrival: NO PENALTY (refund 1 night deposit)

3 Days or less prior to arrival: NO REFUND of 1 night deposit
