A critical part of this statewide scale-up will be building the capacity of Vermont\u2019s cadre of coaches. This includes System and Practice Based Coaches to better serve centers and programs across Vermont\u2019s Early Childhood System.<\/p><p>We are seeking qualified individuals (see qualifications below) to become Early MTSS System and Practice Based Coaches, to support the VIP B-5 project for the next two to three years. Across their time with VIP B-5, Coaches will be asked to do some combination of the following, depending on their prior experience:<\/p><ul><li>Receive training on coaching strategies and Early MTSS tools and principles<\/li><li>Receive training on The Pyramid Model<\/li><li>Provide coaching support to at least one Early MTSS Implementation Site<\/li><li>Participate in a Community of Practice that is focused on peer to peer communication between coaches, and improving outcomes for participating programs<\/li><\/ul><p>The amount of training that coaches receive may depend on their previous experience with the Pyramid Model, and their previous coaching experience. Coaches will receive a training stipend upon completion of their training.<\/p><p>Coaches will be expected to support at least one implementation site upon completion of training. Coaches will receive coaching stipends based on Head Start coaching rates. Every effort will be made to match team members with implementation sites that are geographically convenient for them.<\/p><p>Applications should be submitted <a href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/233325719973162\">using this electronic form.<\/a> Applications must be submitted no later than Sunday Dec 31, 2023.<\/p><p>You may receive this invite from several agencies as this is a cross agency partnership (AOE, CDD, DMH) because we want to ensure we are reaching everyone across Vermont\u2019s Early Childhood System.
